Is it to have fun with hobbies and decorating? To show off its beauty and tasteful decor? Or, perhaps, more nobly, to provide a space where learning and rest and relaxation can take place? Why do we homemakers dust and tidy, cook and bake, de-clutter and scrub? Why do we show up day after day to help, train, and feed? What importance does having an inviting home have?
