A tree which evokes emotion within you? A tree which brings back childhood memories? Memories of sweet, golden days? Do the leaves whisper long ago snatches of laughter and conversation, making you long to go back? I feel that way about gum trees. Such ordinary trees. An invasive species where we live actually.
