Patience

Patiently waiting,

hoping each day,

for rain to start falling;

I hope and I pray,

that seedlings will sprout

fresh green from the ground:

I hope and I pray for that

pattering sound.

And hoping and praising,

I wait for that Day,

when my Lord will come fetch me:

my patience be paid.

Suffering

As pain and grief descend,

and sorrow surrounds,

The One Who suffered so

covers us with His love.

the Way that Jesus showed.

as Gospel seeds are sown.

Plea

You too can be saved;

released, and set free,

you too can know Jesus,

please hear my loud plea:
