Work in Progress: A Gardener's Journal.

Just as in my own life, my garden is a work in progress.

The other day, I mentioned to one of my daughters, that the garden cannot be a hobby. Unlike a book or a craft project, you cannot just put it aside for a few days. No. A garden needs continual attention as do we.

The tiny basil plants in my seed trays need to be sprayed with water twice a day, and there is always weeding, tidying, and harvesting to do. Not to mention dead heading and pruning, raking, digging, and composting.

God is always working on me too, and I am in great need of His care, training, and help. And if I take inspiration from the plants, I will be grateful and not struggle when He does.

This month, I am sharing some photos of my garden. You will notice the bits that need some attention. :)
