Inspiration For Homemakers.

A Housewife's Day I can make many rules I can make many lists as I go about my day I can get very busy doing this and that as I stick to my complex way I can order and shout and boss and stress as my nerves begin to fray! Or I can do things  the better way: give all to the Lord and remember to pray: be filled with His Spirit  as he leads me each day Bad Day Complaining and grumbling  I do my chores rattling the cups and slamming the doors. My manner isn't very nice as I chop the onions and rinse the rice I forget to smile and forget to pray as I rush to and fro  I spoil my day. Once more like Martha, I point out that no one helps I stress and pout. 'Til finally I hear His voice - remember Mary and her better choice? To The Younger Women I know it isn't easy, to go against the flow to submit to your husband and to stay at home to love your children  and put down your phone I know it isn't easy to live a holy life to love your man and keep your house clean ...

Thoughts About The Deeper Christian Life. Inspiration Through Poetry..

Thoughts About The Deeper Christian Life Help me to lay down my life I know I have drifted from You. Help me to  lay down my life; to surrender each part, to be faithful and true *** Repentance is key as we seek to go deeper: what sin has led you astray? Anger and doubt, an unloving way? Repent, lay down all as you kneel down and pray *** Doubt and lack of faith bind you and lead you away doubt and lack of faith keep you from walking with  Jesus today *** You once were born again, now you think that you're OK. You once were born again, Jesus has died, the price did pay. You once were born again, but that was years ago. You once were born again, now in clutches of sin you cannot say no. Repent, as Peter did, when he wept so bitterly, repent as Peter did - be filled with the Spirit, renewed and set free. p.i.H.H Love and blessings. 😊💖😘🤗🙏 P.S. I wrote these poems whilst reading a little book entitled, "The Deeper Christian Life" by Andrew Murray. I highly recommend it...

Beth's Story: A Free Christian Read. Jesus Saves.

A sweet longer salvation story now in one place. :) Chapter One As I open my laptop, I wonder whether my project is remotely do-able. Will I be able to portray with any accuracy, the incredible journey which I've been on? A journey which started when I was a young married woman and has stretched into the evening of my life? I hope to. My heart yearns to help other women, or even men, who are on this journey themselves, but I am aware of the enormity of the task. I bow my head and pray. "Jesus, I can't do this alone. I can't do life alone, and I can't write this story alone. Please guide me and supply the words." *** We fell in love in a pretty ordinary sort of way, Nathan and I. We both worked at the same large retailer, he up in the office, and me, on the floor. I fell in love with his laugh and with the twinkle in his green eyes. Nathan had a way of making me smile on my dreariest day. The kind with nightmare customers and uncoperative staff. I soon realiz...

Special Day. Free Encouraging Mini Read.

A 100 Word Story Special Day Aidie sat forward on the seat, willing the driver to go faster. She couldn't be late, not after all the wasted years. He'd be waiting there for her. She knew. Her excitement grew as they drew closer to the church: this was it. An usher smiled, and shook her hand, then she stepped through the large doors to her destiny. She'd made it in time. The call was made, and she walked up the aisle, neither looking left nor right. He was waiting. Her bridegroom. Then while the choir sang, "Just as I am", Aidie gave her heart to Jesus. 💝💝💝🙏🙏🙏🤗🤗🤗 Have you experienced a very special day? A day when you were born again? A day when you repented of your sin, turned away from it, and gave your life to Jesus, trusting in His death on the cross to save you? How wonderful if you have! If not, consider the life and death of Jesus in the New Testament. He took your sin upon Himself too when he was crucified. He didn't stay in the grave, but rose...

The Six Word Story Challenge. Writing Inspiration.

I was not aware of this, but apparently, you can write a story using only six carefully chosen words.🤭🙃🙂 I have written some very short stories in my time, but none as short as that. Even my shortest poems have more than six words. So, I set myself a challenge to write a few, and here they are. You may notice that they are tinged with sadness, but a thread of joy and hope runs through them. As you read them, use your imagination to fill in the blanks. Love and blessings, Alison💖🌻🙂🙏 Are you inspired to write one line today? Keep shining.🙂✨️✨️✨️🙂🙏🙏🙏

The Old Days. Poetry Inspiration. Faith Walk.

The Old Days When I was born again, now many years ago, there were not so many things to do, we weren't always on the go. We didn't have a smartphone, with all of the apps and such, we talked face to face and on landlines when we wanted to stay in touch. People had time for meetings and church, and read stories to children too, had time for coffee, would visit a friend, even with work and shopping to do. In those days we'd sit in the evening, with books or a healthy hobby, and the best thing about those days: that my Jesus felt so close to me. And now I must go back, to my first love return again, those days may ever be gone  but my Jesus is ever the same. A.S.L Thanks for stopping by😊🙏😊🤗❤️🌻🙏Stay warm in Jesus' love. Salvation Stories: Marco's Miracle. Free Inspirational Short Story.

Salvation Stories: Marco's Miracle Marco waited in the dark alley alongside the corner supermarket. He blended in easily with the dark shadows in his black hoodie and jeans. A stray dog came snuffling down the alley, and he almost lost his nerve. The dog, who was obviously looking for a meal, looked up at him with pleading eyes. "Sorry, boy. You and me are in the same boat. Best go ask someone else. Leave me to do what I've got to do." Marco counted down the minutes until five to nine, then he crept along to the street. The last customers were leaving the building. If only the stupid dog would leave him alone. Mr Cantrillo would be cashing up around now. Marco planned to just wave his knife around a bit. He wouldn't be greedy or hurt Mr Cantrillo. No. He'd just ask for a few hundred. Enough to buy food for himself, his mother and his sisters.  The minutes ticked by, and Marco cursed softly. The dog with the pleading eyes was whining. Marco wanted to give it ...
